I joined Moksha East Van to try it out...a year and a half ago. I often wonder how I made it this far in life without it. Like many people, I have a busy life. I often go to class feeling very exhausted but always leave feeling awesome. Great staff, excellent teachers and nice facility. 40 postures that combine therapeutic and traditional yoga in a specially-heated room (37C and 35% humidity). Each Moksha class is cardiovascular and it strengthens, loosens, and tones the muscles. The heat allows for deep, safe stretching and detoxifies the skin, blood and muscles. All levels always welcome.
Restorative Yoga is a gentle therapeutic style of yoga that uses props to support the body in restful still positions. The focus of the practice is to restore the central nervous system and the internal systems of the body.
